The Leaky D20 no.400 by Arkbrik

Nice, strip number 400! And such a poetic and maybe romantic one too.

I got to play some Call of Cthulhu this week. The PCs are stuck on an island with people who freak out and die and the cops say they are coming as fast as they can but they never do and someone got into contact with a "greater fungus" which is also coming and maybe it will.

On vacation now. But I've made a bunch of strips that should last us for a while.

The training montage has begun. It isn't actually a very long part of the movie... but oh God it feels long.

Back in my early roleplaying days the objective for the PCs was always "get an army and take over the world." Good times.

Or rather, they have been intense until now, what with having a birthday and crunching through the final parts of that thing I and my team have been working on. But now the hard part is done and soon it will available to the world. Here is a peek.

Hey Arkbrik! It's "Kr38or," your newest "watcher" on this... Deviantart... thing. I don't know. I only made an account on this website so I could watch you and be email-notified whenever you make a new comic!
As soon as I noticed that you had just finished "The Goblet of Fire," and that "The Order of the Phoenix" was coming soon, I made this account and watched you as soon as I could. Deviantart looks like it has a lot of opportunities for people who want to make webcomics but can't make their own website!
That's why I will post my D&D-based comic on here to share it with the world. To quote you, I can't believe more people haven't stolen this idea. DM of the Rings, Darths and Droids, and their less famous brothers inspire me to explore regions of this particular webcomic style that haven't been explored yet.
(Also, regions that already have been explored. I don't want to tell you what I'm talking about because I won't release my comic until at least 2015, and I'm paranoid that either someone will steal my idea or someone has already.)
Anyway, the basic thing I'm trying to say is, (because I am absolutely terrible at summarizing) I love D&D even though I'm a complete noob to it, I love D&D-based webcomics, and I especially love The Leaky D20, which is why I'm taking a special interest in it. Also, I'm going to make my own comic, and I'm doing my best to make it awesome, so keep an eye out for it even though it will be a long while before it's ready.
So that's all I have to say! I'm sorry this comment is so long, but as I said, I can't summarize. Even though I'm not a demanding fan, I expect great things from you. I can't wait for your next comic! Keep up the good work!

Thanks, and good luck with your comic. My idea had been "stolen" months before I even had it, but the comic worked out all right anyway. Two comics with the same source material can still be very different.

I don't want to sound demanding, but what's happened to the next comic?
